My Santa Talk App Store Reviews

We don’t often read our reviews (It’s the elves job and they only mention technical problems, if any, since that is their focus)…

But, we were looking through the KINDLE FIRE reviews today (Where MY SANTA TALK is batting 6 out of 7, which we guess is pretty good — Hey, kids are a tough audience, we’ll never hit 100%)…Some highlights…

fun and cute app even convinced me Santa was real and my parents already told me hes not.over all cute and adorble app kids of all ages will love

this app is pretty good. its fun to be able to chat with Santa! the app as I noticed does repeat alittle but its still a great app to have. it works great on the kindle fire I use it all the time.

And, even thought the app is free, someone was very enthusiastic about purchasing it!

this is totally awesome!!! you can acutlly talk to Santa and he’ll respond to you! buy this app! its cool and fun and you get to talk to him for REAL! PLEASE BUY THIS!!!

The Children’s App Manifesto

We’ve seen too many quickly hacked together children’s apps that may show off a developer’s technology nicely but have not been thought through when it comes to protecting children, particularly children’s privacy (Not to point fingers, but, those “Santa Apps” that acquire someone’s phone number and address without parental controls? )

This is a maturing Industry in it’s nascent stages.  The “manifesto” is a nice guideline to start forwarding to children’s app developers; whether they are garage shops or large scale corporations.

Santa and his 2011 Chat – THANK YOU EVERYONE !

Preparing the revised MY SANTA TALK for 2011 took a little longer than anticipated — The new User Interface and delivery system came together in November and early December, then we timed the release to coincide with INTEL’s AppUp store featuring MY SANTA TALK last week.

The results have been remarkable.  High volumes of concurrent users.  But, mainly very high numbers with regard to sessions running 30, 40, 50+ steps in duration (many running from 7-12 minutes)…and, while anonymous (we really don’t know who is using the app, other than by Country and device), we review chat logs and see a lot of people enjoying their conversational text chats with Santa.

Thanks for a terrific Holiday Season.

Yes, MY SANTA TALK will go back in the shop next year and reappear with even more bells and whistles…it’s become a tradition.

11 Days Before X-Mas. . .We’re In Amazon’s App Store…

Passing validation for Kindle is a second step…not sure we’ll make it this year???

Moments Away from 2011 New Launch – Chat with Santa…

It’s been a long year.

But, seeing MySantaTalk move from Beta to it’s Version 1.0 is really exciting.

We are in the process of validating some native app versions and fine tuning the mobile web version.

2011 My Santa Talk About to Launch

We’ve been pretty quiet lately.

We’ve been working.

Barely time to Tweet, never mind, right a worthwhile blog post.

We are in the process of moving our contentAI studios platform and a service out of Beta to release our Ver. 1.0 product — Sometime during the first week of December.

MySantaTalk for 2011 will be released during the first week of December (Sorry, couldn’t quite hit that Thanksgiving Day Parade release date — But, let’s keep the Holidays separate — The first week of December is perfect to start thinking about Santa).

The Holidays are Almost Here…Santa’s Getting Ready to Chat. . .

While we left last year’s story and chat available throughout the Year (yes, I enjoy chatting in July), the ALL NEW “MYSANTATALK” is about to be launched in November 2011 in time for the Holiday Season.

New story.
New chat.
New pictures.

And, we’ll also be on some new mobile platforms this year.

OK, Santa’s going back to his RegEx Elves to put on the finishing touches.
