We’ve had a few inquiries about the technology and platform that My Santa Talk is built upon – and, the “why” this is different from “chat bot” Santa versions.
First, the technology for artificial intelligence, natural language processing and so-called “bots” (or chat bots) is terrific and continues to evolve with many dedicated computer science individual and team efforts. My Santa Talk is a proprietary chat engine, but, it’s also something completely different…
It’s backed by a story-engine.
The story-engine is what makes the experience more like jumping into a scene in a movie. It has a beginning, middle and end, in fact, quite a few of them…but, it is structured to move forward – Much like a real conversation.

In addition to the forward, motivated story — delivering in-chat stream illustrations, animation and video creates an entirely new story-telling experience, designed specifically for mobile engagement. The delivery format for mobile web, with our wonderful partners, also is designed to reach kids and families in an entirely different way…mobile is “personal,” which is what chat should be!
A year from now, when mobile browsers can access accelerometers and geo-data, well, it will advance even further — but, at it’s heart, it’s about experiencing and participating in a story driven conversation.
